Hi. My name is Nandini. I am 21 yrs old. Within another two yrs time my parents will give me in marriage. I am from the country Srilanka, city Colombo. I am Hindu. My cast is Mona vena. We are vellalar. Some people pronounce our cast as “Motta Vellalar” There is many types of vellalar. In that we are motta vellalar. Now I will come to question. I am still a virgin and only want to lose my virginity to my beloved husband. I think that’s the best gift I can ever give him. Like wise I expect the same from him. I want him also to be virgin. He shouldn’t have touched any other girl. I should be the first girl he should touch. My question is whether there are guys who stay as virgin till they get married who are from my cast.
Also I would like to know whether all couples who get married have sexual intercourse on their first night. In our cast there is special time they see for, for couples to have sexual intercourse. It’s called “Shanthi Muhurtham”. So my 2nd question is do all couples have sex on this particular time. If we don’t have it will the girl face any problems with her in-laws? Also I knew that very few girls don’t bleed on their first intercourse as they might have had their hymen broken due other physical activities like bicycle riding, gymnastic. Etc If I girl who had her hymen broken due to those activities. What can she do? Will the in-laws and her hubby believe if she says she is a virgin? Won’t the in-laws check the bed sheet and question that girl? Another question is that, I have heard through my friends that when a girl is married and is about the enter the first night room, her mother in law gives the girl a piece of white cloth.
I know this happens in Buddhist, Muslims and Christian religion. Is it the same in our religion? Especially is it the same happening that are of my cast. My final question is how all men expect their wife to behave on their first night. Should they be shy, or out spoken. Also I would like to ask this question from girls.
